Doesn't really meet the challenge. I can't remember a Beatles lyric refering to a yellow taxicab. That aside, this would have been a better photo in my opinion if there weren't blown highlights. There is an imbalance between the top third of the photo which is mostly dark and the bottom which is mostly bright. It would be okay if the darks weren't quite so dark (just my opinion). I am unable to see detail in the grill which I would like to see. And if it were me, I would have hosed the car off to get rid the gradoo. In the end, it feels flat to me.

I love this image. I hope you are proud of what you have accomplished here! The contrasts are terrific. The colors and levels are very well done. Strong composition with the snow line, the lake-level horizon, and the verticle tree trunk forming a power triangle that leads my eye around the photo. Possibly best of show! So much of the Beatles mystic was related to rebellion, to mind altering drugs, to the escapism of the 60's, to the attempt to see a different reality or see reality differently is probably more correct. For me, this iimage captures the mystic very very well. Well done. Among my favorites this challenge!

Lovely indeed! In fact it is almost perfect. I see some bright highlights on her left arm between her elbow and her finger tips I would like to tone down just a bit. If they could match the highlights on her right hand, I think it would improve the image. Still among my favorites this challenge. Well done!

Dramatic framing adds a lot of interest to the shot. The figure is stiff and doesn't really convey the notion your title suggests. Is that an action figure (with a Kung Fu grip?). I gave this a good score but a livlier subject would have had an extra point or two from me.
