Fairy Falls (not HDR)by ben4345Comment: Why the title about no HDR? It's a lovely photo that would have stood alone. You don't hear a pilot talking about a landing (without looking) or a dentist talking about a filling (without novacaine). Give your viewers a bit more credit. |

Avery overexposed and corrected during editby twade1Comment: I generally don't prefer listing editing steps as the title. If the photo won't stand alone, listing heroic editing steps doesn't raise my opinion of the photo. If it was a good subject, reshoot it without over exposing it. This is a photography contest, not a photoshop heroics contest. |

Winter Fallsby digifotojoComment: Lovely capture of the water. I like the sharp break over the crest of the falls. Background on the left could be stronger, but, hey, it's nature ... what are you going to do? |

Day Into Nightby mattchristopherComment: Lovely colors and composition. Rock in the foreground is a bit distracting. Tilted horizon distracts a bit. All that said, among my top 3 in this challenge. |

Winter Still Life (20 sec. light painting)by rio78Comment: It is unnecessary to describe your technique in the title. If the technique works, the photo will stand on its own. If it doesn't no technique description will help. Just my opinion. |

No, it's the organ from the historic Paramount Theatre in Seattle. |
