This looks like a snapshot as there is no clear cut focal point---nothing that my eye immediately recognized as the subject of the iamge. This could use a contrast boost as well as a rotation make the verticals parallel. An interesting view that you should go back to to reshoot.

Alone in the sun

Wow--- Great shot. Very ineteresting background and a great study. Great tonal range on the flower and what an interesting vase. This shot is realy great. The only thing that breaks it up is where you can see through the blinds. When editing this for a print (of which it would make a great one) I would clone across those blinds. Lastly, I would make a rotation so that the horizontals are parallel to the frame itself. Very well done 9
