The shallow DOF is impressive, and the intepretation is interesting. However, a photo of text itself is tough to make compelling.

I actually think the version of this picture that you have on your website is much better. In that version with the looser crop, I get a much greater sense of depth and space. Bringing the bright rays of sun further down into the composition helps keep the visual interest well away from the edge, with is a problem with the one you entered for the challenge.

The one you entered here is cool, but the one on your website is amazing.
