Consumedby casualguyComment: Returning to bump from 8 to 9.
Wouldn't be surprised to see this on the front page next week.
Good luck in the ratings.
Dear cripes, I keep coming back to this picture and liking it more and more. After thinking about it further, I'm not sure I could guess the reception of this image by voters, as the "you" part is rather small. You are an important part of the composition, but in some respects, it could be anyone, and is definitely more anonymous than many. NONETHELESS --! I return for the final bump to 10.
I think that is one of about five tens I've given out among the 3,500+ votes I've cast on DPC. |

Lossby SteveSeeComment: Very strong entry. Colors and tones are fabulous- muted with hints of red are very appropriate. One of my favorites from this challenge. |

Outcast by L1Comment: one of the better ones I have come across so far.
too bad basic editing rules prevent burning... hot spot at the top is distracting.
great work, though. (8)
oop- coming back to bump to 9. this is one of my favorite 3 in the challenge, despite the technical issue I mentioned above. Aside from that one spot, the composition is great, and this more clearly conveys the *emotion* of pain than any other image in this challenge. |

Meditationby DiscraftComment: good symmetry. It must have been tough to keep your face still while moving the arms. This is definitely in my top ten for this challenge. (8) |

Double Mindedby PanoComment: Very nice effect. Great contrast between the blurred background and the crisp wine glass. I'm sure you saw the other wine-glass portrait, which is a fun one, but I think that this one is much better composed. This strikes me as a top contender. (9) |
