Apple on the roadby r0yalComment: blues are way too strong. some levels adjustment would have helped in restoring a more natural color |

Irresistableby zenelfComment: this looks like about a 4:5 ratio.. I think a 2:3 or even just 3:4 would have worked better |

Lightning Strikeby SDWComment: This is an awesome picture. Have you tried sharpening it at all, at least on the bolt? The picture is clearly pretty sharp already, but it looks like a bit of USM would have made an important difference. |

Bridgedby SondaComment: lovely picture. nice snails!
and how do you like the 28-300 lens? i'm liking the 70-300, but i also miss the shorter range. does the 28-300 work well for an all-purpose lens? i'd really like to avoid switching lenses as much as possible. |

The Eyes Have Itby dblinkComment: superficially similar to my intended triangles entry (though I missed the submission deadline). I like the out-of-focus surrounding area. |

Looking Beyondby booneComment: this is almost a really great photo. only two things are keeping it from being really good to my eye: (1) the lack of focus. it's all too soft. (2) the vanishing point is directly in the center of the frame. moving it to 1/3 on the left or right would help a lot. if these two things were done differently, I'd have scored this quite highly. |
