Hi :)

I think doing either HDR or pseudo-HDR would have helped you to keep from losing detail in the highlights.

Interesting... aside from the name of the station on the sign, this could be almost anywhere.

Cool, I like it. The corner of the wall lines up with the edge of the chair(? table leg?) to make this look almost like a diptych. Those people really do look like something isn't going their way...

It's true, even the most mundane subjects get interesting with these phone-cam filters and effects. Here, a quick snapshot becomes an interesting study in color and lens flare. The cross-processed look lends a captivating mood to this photo, and the cyclists heading in opposite directions create movement and visual tension in an otherwise serene scene.

I just figured that if I took a picture of a bennie, it'd be like I always have it, even after it's left me. Either that, or I had just downloaded the Retro Camera app and wanted to take a picture of something, with relatively little of visual interest in my immediate environment.

The muted palette and choice of subject are appropriate, but it looks like you've lost control of the highlights on the boy's face. You really need smoother gradients for this to work. Nixter has used vignettes, but not so much the heavy blurred-square-border vignettes.

I like the overhead perspective and the candid-esque nature of the shot is topically appropriate, but I would have liked to see you do something to bump the whites a bit.

Control of the exposure is less careful than I think is characteristic of Nixter.
