Ray of Hopeby Dax-Comment: you have a supernal ability to create variations on a theme, united by their subject matter but with no end to their variety. your treatment of color and tone are always very strong. the consistency you achieve is admirable.
great use of DOF in this series, something I've often seen you use to good effect. is this an almond blossom? |

Duck Plug Cloggedby marvinComment: now if you could tell me how you'd turn Duck Plug Clogged into a feature-length film (or even a five-minute short), I'm sure I'd be fascinated. ahem. this seems like a bit of a shoe-in to me. |

Dancing Past Conifersby magnusComment: the white dress provides a brilliant focal point in this composition. the movement of your model is dynamic and engaging. lighting, dof, and color are very well done. the title you have chosen fits the image well, and does not itself seem forced. slight nitpick: not sure I could envision a movie actually carrying this title. |

Dating Prince Charlesby LaughJockeyComment: "Prince Charles" seems to be a reference to the British Prince Charles, and if so, the resemblance is not apt. Maybe "Prince Charming" would have worked better? |

Duh Pinchy Codeby LevTComment: great setup in this photo. i like the graphical elements and the use of ripped paper. i wish the yellow cast were not so strong. |

Drunkard´s Prayer Companionshipby gsalComment: great perspective and tones. as a candid shot, this is great. it stands on its own merit. however, WRT the challenge itself, i'm not so sure. the thing the guy is drinking looks more like a red bull or some other energy drink than an alcoholic beverage, and i see little else that indicates drunkenness or prayer. |

Direct Pursuit a Cycling storyby fotodudeComment: Interesting graphical treatment of the photograph. I think this would make a good movie poster. Not too sure how well the DPC crowd at large will respond to something that isn't so traditionally photographic - though it's fine with me. |

Driving People Crazyby GunnsiComment: I find the blue monotone to be a bit too sedate to convey "crazy." Also, the model's expression is a bit bland. A wider-open eye looking straight at the camera would have communicated better. |
