Hi, my name is Kari and from the critique club.
First Impression - the most important one:
lovely, definately has the feel of somewhere worth dancing. I like the comments that you have received in that they have picked up stuff that I wouldn't .. like the french film angle.
Composition:
a lot of pine .. and little focus on the woman .. I think that it may have worked slightly better if more of the focus had been on her .. a little bit of a tighter crop.
Subject:
Meets the challenge.
Technical (Colour and light):
Nice DOF ... interesting crisp colours...
To grow its vote?:
I think that focusing a little more of the woman ... overall the shot is good and did well .. but I just feel that I want to see more of her.
Summary:
Good on you ... well done.

| This photograph gives me such a good feeling. I love it! The scale of the tall trees makes her seem so small, almost fairylike. Such a dreamy scene. Well done! bumping up. |

| This is one of those feel good French movies that have been coming out in the last decade, probably made specifically for Americans who want the cachet of going to a foreign film without actually having experience anything intellectually different. But I have to admit that the actress looks like a lot of fun. Maybe this is a comedy, or at least will have a sense of humor about itself. She really should put some shoes on, though. Nice composition. Those trees are really soaring (they don't look like conifers, but I won't tell if you won't), and you can put your text up there. Well done. |

| the white dress provides a brilliant focal point in this composition. the movement of your model is dynamic and engaging. lighting, dof, and color are very well done. the title you have chosen fits the image well, and does not itself seem forced. slight nitpick: not sure I could envision a movie actually carrying this title. |
