Critical pressureby UrhoComment: Fascinating scene with a post-apocalyptic feel. Fine lines, shapes and grittiness. But what ultimately makes this image for me is the unusual color combination of thick pink and heightened olive, with a stripe of blue. |

The giftwrapperby DennisheckmanComment: Fine, interesting and complicated image. I very much like the choice of focus that leaves the main figure in concentrated ambiguity. The openings, staircases and disparate lighting engender a sense of spaciousness in what could otherwise be felt as claustrophobic. |

Hesitateby glad2badadComment: An interesting and curious image that has a great sense of force flowing from the positions of the man and the tree he's leaning against. He's almost a tree himself. I like the color tint. While I'm not fond of the picnic table, it does seem to function as a visual anchor. Much more to this than meets the eye. |

What is and what may beby PaulComment: The boys on the left alone would be a winning image, but it's all lifted into a higher realm of interest when joined by the right hand portion. It's a fanfare of lines, shapes, reflections and mysterious figures. A very fine example of the JJ style. |
