fleetingby jmritzComment: This image lifts the not so interesting ordinary to the very interesting ordinary. The woman is engaged and candid, the car has unfolded into unusually shaped and arrayed planes, the scene is modestly tilted and the sky is unsettled and grainy. The sense of instantaneous imbalance is captivating and worth a prolonged look. Photographer as alchemist. |

Sunday's Bestby instepsComment: An instantaneous gesture. A beloved, protected child. You figure it out. In accordance with the title, this has the feel of a procession, with a minor misstep. It's comfortably busy and well composed. Has a charm to it. |

nothing is rightby mitalapoComment: Against my usual tendencies, I like this. The composition is comfortable. The view through to the back is startling, but this is an honest image that easily encompasses it. The man looks natural and at ease. The considerable wiring is there because it's there. It's not at all boring. It's testimony of an ordinary day somewhere. This photo will probably be vastly under-appreciated. |

the summer palace by TiberiusComment: Well-done black and white that animates this straightforward setting with young and old, untold connections and quiet moods. The central column anchors the image as it may divide the people. What's unsaid fills the air. |

One Long Yearby Jules1xComment: A long year of work "capped" off by several hours of festivity and abandon, underscored by the misty focus. I like the color continuity that spans the image, from power tool switch to leather glove. |

The Way to Edenby hihosilverComment: I like the focus on the butterfly and flower while the rest of the tumultuous world is out of focus but about to be challenged. It's a cliche to use the word "frail" here, but I can't think of a better one. I'm sure it will prevail, at least in the near future. |

storm boyby AbraComment: It's all in his look, which is formidable, in combination with a nice composition and string contrast. Feels like the start of a Stephen King novel. |

Spectacleby PaulComment: Terrific photo-journalism, full of emotion and movement. Beyond that the viewer has no idea what it's all about, so it stands alone as emblematic of whatever drama she/he chooses. Turmoil without context, the viewer is activated without knowing why. Not really to the point, but I wonder if the photographer is moving forward or backpedaling. |

Slippery Slopeby sfaliceComment: You've created a beautiful composition. And a beautiful background. Though it's very realistic it can also absolutely work as an abstract, an artistic feat. Great, interesting homage. |

See throughby pgirish007Comment: Eye-catching, in a good way, image of this crystal ball creating its own world and then landing on it. I like that it's boldly front and center, freakish and friendly. |
