A Blue Heron In Flightby GolferDDSComment: Just beautiful. The sky is magical. The light on the herons lends great immediacy. The "poses" are precisely keyed to alternate wing beats and the lift of the legs. I love that the plumage is a bit rough, unlike in a guide book, allowing the bird's uniqueness to show. |

The accents of mustard yellow, red and white generate further deftly handled weight to the image. Brickwork and lace curtains -- what more could one ask for? |

Blue Heavenby MonaComment: A detail that works wonderfully as a full, wide-angle image. The light on the tree top is the glorious light that surrounds a storm, as seen reflected in the background. The sky has the feel of Tiffany glass. Good composition. Nice. |
