u n t i t l e dby Bear_MusicComment: Handsome in so many ways. The rectilinear composition is adroitly broken, as by the ice cream cone and the intriguing reflected scene in the window. The "Closed" signs are subtly echoed by the empty parking spaces. And yet there's a niggling dissonance, as the saturated blue of the building implies freshly painted and welcome to the new season. Time, here, is being playfully juggled. The overall processing is compelling. It adds to the sense of nostalgia, of summers past. An abiding quiet that lingers and fulfills.
Gave a seven. Sorry, should be a nine or ten. |

No trespassingby SistoComment: So very closed. Rusted closed to the extent that time itself seems forbidden, but how beautifully. A solid composition that thrills in the details therein. The colors, in hue and contrast, are lovely. I especially love the blues, how they spill from the barrier into the sky, or vice versa. |

What once was! by JudiComment: Personal co-favorite and one of your nines. A glowing, tattered, wondrous symphony of doors, windows and sundry rectangles that pulsates with life. The colors are an expedition into honey and amber. Like one of those games in which various pieces are shifted around within a contained square into a coherent solution, but this'll never be solved. |

Ghosted by mpetersComment: Big Congratulations! Also one of your nines. This is beautiful and timeless, a pillow, a dream that we're so fortunate is real and accessible. A soft focus that dazzles and fulfills. Then why is it only a nine? Perhaps a numbness of spirit that couldn't let it entirely in, but now that's dissipated. If you'd entered this in the Glitter Challenge, the snow on the mountain would be much more than sufficient. All in all, thank you. |

Kashmirby Ecce_SignumComment: So creamy he must be sitting on the dairy shelf of a gourmet shop. The delicate tones are a marvel, the grays, browns, blues and pinks. Your lenses are made for such magical creatures. His position and attention are just so. |

adjustmentsby RKTComment: I find the lighting a bit confusing, but like her concentration on the pitch and yaw of her hat. As this is an adjustment, it feels like this is a mirror's perspective, intriguingly voyeuristic. It's interesting how her eyes are teasingly visible through the shadow and the dark glasses. An involving portrait. |

Backyard Oakby Art RoflmaoComment: The night when no one's watching, kind of from the viewpoint of the tree. Can't say if the tree's brooding or protective, but come to think of it, I can't claim any insight into the emotional life of trees. The processing endows the scene with a fairy tale-like aspect. I like all the tonal variation within the limited color range. Can't help thinking there must be hidden objects in here, but that way lies madness. |

Respect the Artby Art RoflmaoComment: Having read the plaque, my original take as fanciful, joyous whimsy has evolved to fanciful, joyous devotion. As a photograph it's a landscape through which we can visually amble with newfound pleasure and admiration for the loving feelings of its creator, its artist. As per the title, some people have a loose relationship with consideration, which is sad. Thanks for showing us this marvel. |

Clooneyby Ecce_SignumComment: Another heavily grained watercolor wash of a cat. This beautifully allusive image seems to extend the gentle Japanese appreciation of nature. We're left with the aroma, the will-o'-the-wisp, the breath. |
