The Merced River as it flows downhill from Yosemite. About 15 minutes from the Hwy 140 entrance and we lucked out with some foggy conditions.

Thank you Neat, Penny, and Rich for your kind comments. I'm pleased to hear the numbness of spirit has subsided...maybe it was the 17th rendition of Jingle Bells that finally pushed it away for good! :)

Big Congratulations! Also one of your nines. This is beautiful and timeless, a pillow, a dream that we're so fortunate is real and accessible. A soft focus that dazzles and fulfills. Then why is it only a nine? Perhaps a numbness of spirit that couldn't let it entirely in, but now that's dissipated. If you'd entered this in the Glitter Challenge, the snow on the mountain would be much more than sufficient. All in all, thank you.

One of the few shots in this challenge that is really soft focus. And a nice, moody landscape. My top pick.
