Mar 07 - Landscapeby hajekaComment: The jutting waterway that divides the land and the lowering sky, which somewhat echoes the choppiness of the water, make for a harmonious composition. This is just how I've imagined Netherlands, the flat countryside of Dutch landscape painters. How the windmills have evolved! |

Vista de Las Cruces 3by wbanningComment: This is my favorite of the three. It combines the delicacy of the vines in the center shot with the fascinating contrast of the swirling pattern below. I think that you've divided the two parts perfectly, and the curb is a terrific natural separator. If you can see the beauty here you can enjoy your day. |

Bathed in Lightby digifotojoComment: p.s.
After browsing the Ott's Exotic Plants website it's apparent that your intimate studies would enhance its appeal. I know that I would make a special trip there, if I were in the area, and saw your images. The promise of exploring this new dimension of beauty would be like nectar to a bee. |

Bathed in Lightby digifotojoComment: I admire how you've achieved a lovely, dynamic composition by the tilt of the window frame and mullions. The softness and colors of the background are quite appealing. All this, and then there's this fascinating flower to wonder at. I like this image a lot. |

mac100mm 5 shotENby ozeradComment: Intriguing study. I like the way light is reflected off the tiny structures in the middle. And especially the the subtle parallel veins of the petals. It's kind of like the flower is offering a bouquet. |

Set Plastic Bottle On Steam Trapby rodfulkComment: Did someone actually do this? I hope you're wearing a hard hat and kevlar. The scene behind the bottle is interestingly composed and balanced. I think you're channeling Edward Gorey in this series of mishaps. |

fl-3 20 shots ENby ozeradComment: The anthers seem to be dancing in a circle around the stigma. Once again, the colors and clarity are amazing. I wish this had been in my biology text way back then. The soft pink/purple background sets them off perfectly. |

Andy never cared for chessby instepsComment: Just by angling the chessboard you've given it dynamism. The setting, and its long, open history, are appealing. Most of all I like the varying red and black hues of the board. And if you haven't a gauntlet, a banana will do. |

Smooth Waterby JuliBocComment: The lines, including many subtle ones, play nicely together. The ocean is beautiful, most so the swirling colors just offshore. The give a sense of languid opalescence. I also like the line of clouds, demure as they are. |

Mar 06 - Birthby hajekaComment: Tender and nicely composed. The sinuous shoot, partially in focus, makes a fascinating platform for the leaves and the nascent berry. The narrow focus goes across two outer leaves, water droplets and the base of the bud. So the upper bud is a bit out of focus, implying mystery and privacy at the heart of it. |
