What a gift reflections are to a photographer, as well as anyone who enjoys these sidelong dimensions. The light is wonderful. And the edges of the pole are amazing. As are the patterns of the drops. Doesn't need anything more. Thanks.

Strange and incongruous to me, but that just means I must think and engage my imagination. The tortoise has a ghostly feel, as does the sea, so maybe it's a continuing presence of the ancient amid the present. In any case, it's good to experiment and broaden one's range.

This crop is certainly superior. And this is beautiful. It's a simple and affecting high key image, showing a moment of pleasure for this lovely horse. The background is perfect. A tour de horse. I mean force.

This image is very good also. You have a knack for serenity, which is precious in and beyond photography. To that end I'm finding the white duck in the foreground distracting to the overall feel, though it's an artistic choice that I do understand. Ignoring that quibble, fine work.

Fine image. The elegant lines, some regular and some irregular, are very engaging, punctuated by the stately central tree in silhouette. I like the muted palette. The modestly green grass stands out as downright luxuriant. Nice quiet feeling.

I prefer this image. The patterns of repetition are entrancing in their variety. It has a very enjoyable harmony that thwarts perfect symmetry. Excellent.

Good image that dives into the smaller realm with intensity and affection. B&W is the way to go. The crossing of the spokes in the background is a revelation in and of itself. The other grainy shapes, tones and lines merit exploration.

This image of the six is most engaging and heartbreaking, underscored by the fact that I eat fish myself. The swordfish, who's half chopped away and sold for dinner, seems alive and surprised at what has become of him or her. It's a silent tragedy that passes for normal, even despite a lifetime of preying on a multitude of smaller fish. The purveyor is well-posed engaged in the opposite direction. The combination of blues and pinks works well.

Very interesting idea. I see it as a beast of burden greeting someone who looks burdened himself. I wonder if it's a bridge of mortality or an embrace of a troubled soul. I believe the latter, as animals can be this generous and loving.
