I am looking at this image, trying to figure out if the bright highlights bother me more on the petals, or in the background.... then I realized I would prefer the flower at more of an angle than it is now. Nice separation from the background.

Really fun perspective, however I think this would have worked better with a much stronger contrast and maybe even a vinaigrette.

I enjoy the flower, but not the image. For me, maybe it is a bit flat, it doesn't jump out at me screaming Look at me Look at me. It could also be the shallow dof, I think i might have liked to see all the petals in focus... Not sure... just, something missing.

Day 1 - Seven Gourds

This is a fun perspective. However, I think the 'shed' takes a bit to much away from the gourds. I did notice the gourds straight away, but was immediately taken away from them as well. You do have a nice separation of contrasts here.

Signs are fun, but I am thinking maybe if you did some strong burning on everything... it could look like a burnt 'wilderness' and really give some strong emotive values. As it is now, just seems a bit flat.

I was excited to see the thumb of this, I was thinking, ooooooOOOoo a spooky trail or something. However, looking at it larger, it seems like an image from an old newspaper. Almost seems overly sharp. Not really exactly know what I feel about this image. Most times the style of this is enjoyable, but here, I just find myself lacking the enjoy part.... don't get me wrong its a good image, just think I was expecting something else.

This is a very fun image. I really enjoy the light and the bit of the cat laying in it. I am just wondering if the light just happened on the cat and it was just sleeping? or if it went to lay in the light and the light moved? Anyway, don't think I have anything to really say about this other then very nice job.

I really enjoy this image. The needles appear to me like metal barbs twisting around. I really like the shallow dof, and focus seems to be right where it needs to be. Overall I would say this is very well done.

That is a nice lookin tractor. Love the classics. What I don't care for, is the angle. I am thinking something a bit more to the side, may give the tractor more personality, as well as a bit more separation from the background. Overall its a fun image.
