Thoreauby bspurgeonComment: Very interesting and engaging image. Makes the viewer feel like a sentinel looking for something in the distance. It also conveys the uneasy feeling of being watched. Maybe I missed what you're saying completely but it's always nice to hear how an image is interpreted. |

The Sentinelby bohemkaComment: I really like the tree in the middle left. My eye is drawn to it more than your main subject. I think the dirt tire tracks, stone wall and tree are enough to make a very engaging image. Congratulation on finding this interesting subject and good luck in the challenge. If it's convenient, you should revisit this place. |

Sentinel by AllenPComment: This is a nice classic shot but I'm not crazy about your colors. I think black and white with maybe a little sepia would be more appealing. I really like your composition. |
