I hate work like this, when someone does the same sort of shot you do for a challenge only they do it better. Perhaps a bit shallow on the DOF but a lovely shot.

The subject here is only barely tangentially within the subject of the challenge, therefore it is not the best of the group in that one reguard. As a shot in a gallerey it is amazing and near perfect. I feel bad giving it an 8 both because it should be lower because the challenge is skirted, and it should be higher because this is great work.

Not sure if the bridal cold foot referance will be widely recognised, but it made me laugh, and though I wish the shot had a pure black somewhere in it, it is a lovely, lyrical image.

lovely light , I hope you explain how you post processed, because while i think what you pointed your camera at was just OK the resulting image is more thatn the sum of its parts
