Exit Music by Ian Rankinby MAKComment: I don't get a feel of a crime novel. I like the aged look, but feel that it could be a tad brighter. A 5 from me. |

"A Prayer for Owen Meany"by DudskiComment: An interesting, alternative take on the book. I haven't read it, but this portrayal has definitely sparked an interest. The dramatic clouds and usage of light make it well worthwhile to look at this in detail. A 6 from me |

Lord of the fliesby nygoldComment: I loved the book. I'm not sure that it captures the essence of the plot - perhaps it looks a tad too staged. Black and white works and I like the fact that each boy is shown in different degrees of detail. From me a 5 |

The Prophetby jagarComment: Not sure about this one - there are elements I like about it (especially the window/door, the light and the person sitting in front of it) and bits I feel uncertain about (the face). For me, had the face been more out of focus than the person and the window, it would have made more sense, but it's a personal thing. I think the colors work well. A 5 from me. |

Angela's Ashes by Frank McCourtby illini75Comment: This is exactly how I picture the cover of the book. Black and white works so well for this. The attention to detail is perfect. In my top 3. A 9 from me. |

The Postman Always Rings Twiceby LinMalAngComment: Whilst this doesn't make me think of a film noir, I really like it, especially the contrast in light, and it's spot on for the title. A 6 from me |

War of The Worldsby MondComment: Probably one of my favorites! This is because I perceive it to be difficult to achieve a science fiction look with ordinary things - and you've done that very well (although I don't know where or what this is). The colors work well. A 7 from me |
