Reach for the Skyby NeilComment: Great Ansel Adams feel. Love the composition and the contrasts of tones and textures. One of the best of the group of entries. 8 |

Lens Affairby Breeee123Comment: Beautifully done. Love the catch lights. Wonderful lighting. All of the makeup really works to pull us to her eyes, especially in black and white. Man, I wish I had her jawline. :) 8 |

6 Stringby loveComment: I like the reflection of the blinds on the guitar. Not a fan of the texture on the wall. TO me, it's a bit distracting, but that's just one of my weird pet peeves. :) |

Camera Lucidaby mariucaComment: I think this would have had more impact if we had just seen what she was taking the photo of, and not a blurred area of it to the right. Just my opinion, for what it's worth. :) |

Top dogby LadComment: Well hello beautiful. The way the dog is sitting, reminds me of my dog Tank. Makes me smile. :) |

The coming stormby cogeroxComment: Very nice. I love the clouds and their reflection in the pond below. THe trees to the right add a bit of interest and put it slightly off kilter. That single white line in the sky is interesting as well. Probably one of the better landscapes hands down. 8 |

Waiting My Turn by njsabsComment: Outstanding. Probably (to me) the best in the challenge. The centering of her face is perfect here. I like the symmetry of her arms to add that sense of balance. Love the catch lights and the lighting is smooth and suits her sweet face. The tutu in the background is a great backdrop and helps add to the story of this portrait. Nice work. 9 |

nippy dayby LevTComment: I think I might've made it less of a square and cropped off some of the area at top and bottom. I like the subject matter but to me, it seems a bit "floating" with so much negative space around the woman and her cute pooch. Or maybe if they weren't centered. Hope this is helpful. :) 6 |
