Conch shells are such an interesting natural piece of architecture. I want to grab it and see if I can hear the ocean. Nice use of light. I like the blackout in the background.

Pink and green - what a nice contrast. The detailing is good. I'd have liked to see it zoomed in even more and alleviate some of the surrounding foliage.

Simple - yet I find this a pretty photo. The muted jewel tones are nicely used. The light is good and not too brash. The green is almost too dark to be seen though.

This may be the most unusual macro of the challenge. Like odd shaped sponged coming out of asphalt. It just doesn't do much for me though. I like your imaginative approach though.
