The Lookby mariomelComment: This is a wonderful start. The eyes and lips are wonderful. I think some post editing work would really put this in a class by itself. I'd clone out the blemish to the left side of her nose and maybe soften it up ever so much overall. I'd probably clone out the pink of her shirt as well, since it really doesn't add to the overall appeal of the shot. She's a lovely girl!! |

Bit of the Irish in her.by BrennanOBComment: Very striking. Natural look to it. Beautiful eyes and hair for sure. I think a smidge of post editing would have helped soften it up just that little bit that would send it over the edge for me. Lovely girl!! |

Kissed by an Angelby CalliopeKelComment: This is so outstanding that I cannot explain. The "in your face" feeling compells me to just gaze into those beautiful blue eyes. The freckles are so charming and give it an innocence. The clarity is superb. Beautiful skin tones as well. Bravo!!! 10 |

Bubbles? My Bubbles!by SchuffComment: Now THIS is a portrait!!! The lighting and the closeness to the face is wonderful. The props of the bubbles just add more wonder to that adorable expression. The skin tones are perfect. What a gorgeous child. Those eyes! AUGHHHHHHH Your use of negative space and the framing - Spot on. TEN TEN TEN!!! |

Girl in loveby birgirComment: I feel that she is way too small in the shot. I think a portrait should showcase the face. Hers is lovely, but I can't see any detail. The heart in the background I find distracting. The focus should only be on her. Her eyes are lovely, but I'd like to see them about 4 times closer. She's a lovely girl. |

Portraitby DesemberComment: Love the pose. Her eyes are so reflective. The monochromatic theme is nicely done. Nicely composed as well. The skin on her face seems a tad flat with the piercing light in her eyes but that's my only critique. |

Aiyah!by barndogComment: I appreciate the karate move, but I don't find it suitable for this challenge. I guess if it were seriously focused, maybe. I think the crop is too tight to include his whole body. I'd rather you zoom in on his face and upper neck and really detail his adorable face. |

Aidenby cowcollectComment: This is fuzzy and doesn't suit the formal portrait idea for me at all. The lighting isn't on him and it's more about the tree than the boy. I'd like for you to zoom in on him and get a crystal clear shot of his face and neck. THEN you'd have something. He's a cute kid with a great smile and I'd like to see more of it!!! ;~D |

Any Colour You Likeby CorySmithComment: This is a fun take on the challenge. I like the colors. The background is a tad distracting, but considering the location, that's understandable. GOod use of light. Good capture! |
