I like the illuminated arch's golden color against the vivid blue sky. Nice color contrast. The detail of the wording and the statue is well done too. The perspective is unusual and interesting to the ey.

I like the idea of this shot. The color and texture variations add interest. My main complaint is that the window frame isn't parallel with the bottom of the photo's line. It could be easily remedied by straightening out the shot. With the subject being farther away, it might be difficult, but I wish she were a tad bit more focused. Love the turquoise shutters!

I'm so glad somebody else used a funny card. Mine isn't doing so well, but these are the types of cards I buy. I think it woiuld be funny if inside, it read "Season's Greetings!" I have a lateral sense of humor as I'm sure you do. The detail is funny and it almost has the "Oh, my dad is being a goof again" sense to it. I like the tight crop as it works for a card, but not the best for a "good" photograph per se. Upon 2nd review I'm upping the score.

Wildlife

I've never seen a wild life category, but if I had, this would certainly work. The greens and yellows are very striking. The lighting showcases his skin very well. I might blur out the background a bit as it is a bit distracting. I think "Hang In There" would have worked too. hee hee

I think the composition of this is a tad busy. The ceramic sculpture in the lower part is too distracting and doesn't add to the shot at all. What if you cropped to just below the dove on the ledge? I still think it would work and you could even zoom in more on the bird. AS it is, there is so much going on, that there isn't a place for the eye to rest. I don't really see the connection between friendship and a dove with some garden statuary but that's not the point. The clarity and focus is there. The lighting is good. Just delete some of it, or shoot in an area that has more solid surface, and I think you have a winner.
