Greetings from the Critique Club

I think I remember this guy from voting in the Challenge. He was a friendly looking guy then and still is. He definitely looks as if he could give you a nice, comforting pat on the back whenever you need it.

Expressive face, well photographed. Background is nicely neutral and I like the Black 'n White treatment.

From your portfolio, you seem to be a "People-type" person and your images of people are just great.

About all I can offer you is encouragement. 6.13 isn't bad, but keep doing what you are doing and undoubtedly those scores will go up even higher.

this is better than any of the top three - I really like this still - you get my ribbon anyway. Go sell this to a card company and make both of us feel better! :-)

Great shot. His expression certainly expresses a bad day. At the same time, that hint of a smirk makes you feel that things will get better. I would buy this greeting card.

Facial expression is spot on for the title. Very emotive. Nice job.

I'm so glad somebody else used a funny card. Mine isn't doing so well, but these are the types of cards I buy. I think it woiuld be funny if inside, it read "Season's Greetings!" I have a lateral sense of humor as I'm sure you do. The detail is funny and it almost has the "Oh, my dad is being a goof again" sense to it. I like the tight crop as it works for a card, but not the best for a "good" photograph per se. Upon 2nd review I'm upping the score.

Awesome shot. I could definitely see this on a greeting card. Minor nitpick: the bright spots/reflections in the eyes are a slight distraction.

This fellow has a lot of character! This picture could easily show up on the card stand. Great job!

classic, humorous, like the use of b&w, i think it would make a cute card.
