I think in order for this to look like Avedon, it needs much more contrast and perhaps a sense of purpose. As it is, it just kind of looks like a guy in a windbreaker. Does that make sense? Avedon's stuff caught people in the act of doing what they do (ie: a singer singing, a chef with a chef hat on, etc.) I think this might have a bit better impact too if it wasn't so centered.

I love Avedon's work. This does look like something he would do.

Stunning light. I like the smooth toes of the skin. I can see this done by him for sure.

Excellent title. I like how his eyes jump out of the page. The leading line of the silvery zipper really draws you to his face. Great tribute to Dorothea too!

I think it would look more like one of his photos if it were wide angle and had a bit more contrast. As it is, it's just kind of this mountain dead centered in the shot. If done from a side perspective, you'd get more interesting snow and trees.

Excellent color shot. This image tells a story. The warm tones are so pretty to look at. I like that she is in the distance and surrounded by the landscape. I can see this on a travel or magazine cover featuring Africa!!

My favorite by far. He is focused and the DOF really works. Great lighting. The candid expression of "huh?" is great! What a wonderful trip you must've had.
