My first thought was 'crown of thorns,' but then I thought of that stuff that is put into packaging that's basically shredded paper. The entire grey scale spectrum is here. I like it's abstractness!

Oh Sarah!!!! I am mad for this. I love the linear quality. I see images such as this and just swoon. I am particularly fond of it in BW with that scratchy layer, to appear as though there is a scrubby brush beneath the trees. I swear, this would be so awesome really huge with a gigantically wide mat and thin metal black frame. LURVE~
