contemplation of the miserableby GnarfComment: Interesting image. The old and the really old. The wide angle effect to the out-of-focus area at the top is a bit uncomfortable to look at, and the result is that my eye often returns to the subject of the portrait. I'm intrigued that an image has made me "feel" that way. In that regard, you've accomplished more than creating an image.
My mom has the complete set of china like that bowl, brought over from Germany in 1953; a memory evoked by this image.
Additionally, this is the first time I've felt that a title is worth an extra point. |
