Twistedby SJCarterComment: Lovely lighting brings out the feel of depth to this shot. A great example of how to create a great photo from a somewhat average location. Nice composition and exposure, and just a touch of softness is perfect. Nice job. |

Rainbow Fallsby SJCarterComment: This would be awesome for a "fantasy" type challenge! I just love looking at this. It's a feast for the eyes. Creativity and a little (okay, a LOT) of PS is a wonderful thing. |

Maegnas is my name, I am the spider's bane.by DanSigComment: I really like the lighting and clarity of this shot. If not a LOTR fan (which I'm not), it may not have the same impact. I see that it finished well in such a large challenge, so congratulations on that! I think that a border may help this shot. |

Feeling Blue?by lentilComment: I wouldn't change a thing about this one. I'm very surprised that it didn't finish higher. Nice soft color and lighting, I even like the shadow behind the flower as it separates it from the background. Great job. |

Anyone for a "light" lunch?by lentilComment: A nice idea and well done. For more impact, I think less would have been more. A closer composition down on the plate, without the silverware or candle would be interesting to see. |

Hibiscusby lentilComment: Gorgeous! I'll bet this does well as a print. I really like the crop, the lighting and the little bit of green. Just lovely. |

Just Duckyby CalliopeKelComment: Just love the lighting and blurred background here. You caught the chick's face just right! This would make a wonderful Easter card. |

Time for Meby CalliopeKelComment: I really like this shot. Anyone who has taken that "time for me" knows how wonderful it can be! I would have liked just a little bit of more light and detail on the left, but this isn't bad at all. I think what really makes the photo for me are the boutique bottles in the bottom right. Really adds a nice touch to an already great mood for the photo. |

Branches of Love, Life, Heart, and Fateby wavelengthComment: I think it's an interesting idea for the challenge, but I don't think the execution of it is very interesting. The angle, the lighting and having whatever that is in the upper right background, all give it more the feel of just a quick snapshot vs. a thought out photo.
I would have prefered a higher angle looking down on the hand, setting the white balance so that the skin had a more natural tone (or switch to black and white), and be more careful of the background.
I like that it's a creative and unique take on the challenge topic. |

Jenny's Shoesby wavelengthComment: Nice shot of the shoes, but not a whole lot of interest. I like the sunlight across the bed and shoes. |
