Actually, we were in a National Park (Yellowstone, I think.) It was at the end of the day and we were on the park road going back to our accomodations. It wasn't very crowded at all. I wasn't driving...just on the passenger side looking out the window (with my camera in my lap.) Suddenly, my sis - who was driving - just stopped and said, "Look!" She just stopped right in the road and I told her to turn of the engine (because I would be using my zoom, and because of the low light, I didn't want any vibration from the car.) I only had the time to take one quick shot...you can see the deer was just starting to move as I took this shot.

It was very cool and I'm glad you like the photo. Technically, it's not the best, but it's one of my favorites from the trip.

My first reaction is that she looks like she's all cramped inside a box. I like the soft glow, though maybe slightly overdone for my tastes. Technically, it's okay for me, but the pose just doesn't look flattering or comfortable.

I love the processing and/or exposure on this shot. The reflection of the moon lighting is especially lovely, and the orange from the lamp sets off all the blue tones. The sky is so beautiful. Really nice.

I really like the background colors on this one. I would work a little more on the leaves themselves to bring them out a bit more. You have a nice eye for composition.

I like the colors and composition. This would be a good one to play with and really see how to make the leave pop from the background a bit more. I find the one brighter spot to left of bottom center to be a little distracting.

Perfect action shot! Clarity and DOF is wonderful. The colors jump out at the viewer and as I see it, I really feel a sense of being at the game. I think having packed stands in the background helps add to this shot as well.
