I think this shot was vastly under-rated! I can't believe some of the ones (mine included!) that finished before this heart-tugging capture. This should have been much higher up on the list. :(

I think this one was very underated. Beautiful full-frame natural portrait. The naturalness of this one makes it stand out for me. No fancy editing, lighting, make-up, props, filters etc. Congratulations on a great shot.

This is cute! I would have perhaps put the shoes a bit closer to the surf to get a bit more water in the shot. I like the feet running away in the background. The sand adds some nice texture.

I don't care for the lighting or pose on this shot. The light seems harsh and the shadow is distracting to me. Perhaps if she was farther away from the background.

I also don't like angle getting so much of the cleavage right out there type pose. The strip of carpet or whatever that is under her right arm takes away from the composition as well. I actually think a tighter crop would put the attention more on the pretty model and be more flattering.

edited to add: Thank you for your nice comment on my canyon view. My comment exchange though was for photos we perhaps didn't care for as much (and why), so that's why I did my comment on this portrait.

This is eyecatching, but I think for the wrong reasons.

There is too much going on here and the processing would not be my choice.

The halo of light between the trees and sky and also surrounding the dock or whatever that is, is very distracting and detracts imo, from the scene. It appears to be a higher contraty look that gives it a surreal effect that I don't care for. It looks like a nice location, but I think you were trying to do too much with the shot. Perhaps the irony of such a peaceful location looking chaotic throws me off as a viewer.

Then again, perhaps that was the look you were going for :)
