Interesting how it looks like it's exploding. Good texture. It's not easy to get a snow shot. Not a photo that holds my interest, however.

It does show texture. The right edge of the feather somehow detracts for me....some kind of fringing or of focus line. (I'm sure no expert!) I would have liked maybe a different background.

Fuzzy indeed. I think this is a wonderful texture shot. The focus and DOF work well with the lighting to highlight the texture.

I like this in the black and white. Not a really stong element of texture, but it is there. Lighting is pretty good, but I think the crop is a little too tight at the top and left of the shot.

Got the idea and I see the texture, but the lighting needs improvement. The bright glare off of the one penny, while it may be intentional, just detracts IMO. Focus is good.

This is a photo I normally would not comment on, but I'm trying to comment more. I wouldn't normally comment because I just don't quite "get" the texture here. I mean, any photo will have some texture, but this doesn't really emphasize that to me. I'm not sure what's going on in the photo - a performance of some kind? Looks like the next person waiting in the wings?
