11- Commuters & Tourists in Times Squareby tvsometimeComment: Well, this is a candid camera shot on its best, no one is looking at you and no one is interested in you. Each and everyone is living his/her own life, almost no interaction at all. Very interesting and I think it is very typical for this era. |

First attempt at a panoramaby bsluijkComment: The sky makes this panorama, really nice. And I like the way the triangle shaped fen lead my eyes from the closed part in the middle to the two corners. Only small thing: I have the idea the horizon is not completely leveled, it seems left is just a bit lower than the right part of the image (but of course I can be wrong) |

Pretty in purpleby bsluijkComment: Great colours again, I like the various purple colours in this one. And looking at the background I think purple was the main colour in this part of the parade. And it's clear people enjoyed the parade very much (and the sunny weather as well). |

Belgian Beer Glassby bsluijkComment: I think this must have been a difficult one to photograph. On the glass itself there is that striped smudge on the top half (reflection?) and the black background shows some kind of blur as well (probably easy to deal with using levels). But overall I think it is a good exercise in the use of light on glass objects. |
