Nice perspective for this visual commentary on the age. I'm surprised more of them don't have the omnipresent cell phones out.

Well, this is a candid camera shot on its best, no one is looking at you and no one is interested in you. Each and everyone is living his/her own life, almost no interaction at all. Very interesting and I think it is very typical for this era.

Thanks for the comments.

As for Lucky 13, I should have used this I think - the one I used isn't doing very well.

As to dodging - there wasn't any. The converted tones are mostly from Silver Efex Pro plus some general tweeking in CS5. No selective processing at all. The uneven bright areas are hazy reflected light from surrounding buildings.

Nicely composed. Could work well for Lucky 13.

Interesting angle, and a nice composition overall. The white stripe separates the two groups even more than they already are. All faces are all but invisible, yet each seems to have a character of its own.
Interesting observation about the dodging being visible mostly in the thumbnail - a thumbnail sometimes reveals stuff you don't notice in the bigger picture.

You didn't use this in the 13 challenge? Interesting how you have two sub groups of 5 together and then 8 together.

I like that everyone is together, but each person is in their own little world. I especially like the clump of cell phone addicts at the top of the image.

One thing I noticed that was interesting (not good or bad) was that when I view the thumbnail, I can see that you dodged each of the people. On the big image, I only notice the dodging when I'm looking for it.
