Chereneby ty_roniComment: Excellent shot. Everything has been said. One thing I like most about this (aside from your model) is the color tone you used. How did you achieve that?
Adding this to my few faves. |

Peteby KiwiChrisComment: A more shallow DOF is suggested to have less detail on the background. Also, if you underexposed it a bit, I guess the face would be more dramatic. Why not a plain black background? For me, I bought a black velvet cloth for that purpose.
For the pose, I would suggest a more tighter crop on the left. But then, you don't like to crop out the hand, do you? So maybe let him move his hand higher close to his ear. I am glad the other hand is not shown as this portrait is better off asymmetrically.
If this is posted in a comepetition and granted that it suits the theme, I would give it a 7. It means that it is an above average portrait.
JMHO.

Seeking a Perchby OlyuziComment: No effense to the ribboners...but this should have been the BLUE!
Congratulations. And btw, you were the first person who encouraged me to continue on posting pictures here. My gratitude. This is not a scratch at your back. This picture is really good. I will add this to my faves.

Kissed by the Evening Lightby gaurawaComment: I am flattered to have inspired you to take this shot. tHis is beautiful. I like the slight opening of the mouth....more expressive. I also like the fact that the transparent veil covers the whole face. How you've managed to achieved sharpness despite the veil covering is amazing. Any trick?
