workerby mrbig65Comment: The pink tones were eye-catching in this challenge that ended up being almost exclusively black and white. Other than that, the image does not interest me. |

Carribean Coastby mlianoprComment: Looks like a nice sky but the processing does not do it justice; the image is flat. The main subject is soft and there are artifacts around its edges - not sure what happened here. |

Dusky tideby damoninjaComment: I need a little more definition in the shadow area, esp under the pier; this falls a bit flat. |

dogspray fallsby daisydavidComment: The tones do range from white to black. Not sure what you were about here - light on water droplets as a wet dog shakes, maybe? |

Azalia and Leavesby eyestrangeComment: This lacks the clean look I would associate with Adams and with flowers touched by light. Nice detail in the petals though. |

Rose and Driftwoodby BamBamPKComment: This is too soft and flat for me. I do like the slight angle of the wood surface and the placement of the rose in the frame. |

epic daydreamsby jmritzComment: I have tried not to be too narrow in my interpretation of the Ansel Adams "style" so subject (whatever it is) does not count against this. However, it lacks just about everything else I associate with Adams: clarity, focus, tonal range, etc. It IS black and white . . . |

Once upon a time, a nice king lived in this palaceby WessamComment: Looks to be a beautiful building, but the image lacks a wide range of tones and looks flat. It could also benefit from some foreground so the palace does not look cut off, a little transform work to correct the lens distortion, and a denoise filter, I think. |
