anticipationby daisydavidComment: Oh, very, very nice, John. I love the play of light and shadow, the patterns and textures of the lace, the shadow on the sill - just lovely. I don't find it bland at all - quiet, maybe, but not at all bland. |

Sunday Afternoon Teaby bsluijkComment: I also prefer the color version - especially for the area where the pot is directly against the background like the spout. It stands out better in color. For the body of the pot and the window reflection, I might prefer the black and white. I would also like either more or none of the knob on the top. Nice lines and shape. |

Horseby bsluijkComment: Ann picked up on the two things that impressed me - lighting and textures. Nice. |

Week 3: First Smoke Capture!by NeilComment: I like the definition of the lines - how can smoke have edges? Looks like a tango to me. I find the spots distracting - noticed before I read others' comments - and worth the minute it would take to clone them out. |

4. Kaleidoscopeby PennyStreetComment: I like the strong contrasts in the processing - really brings out the textures - and that is a great background. |

04 52by salmiakkiComment: I especially like Dennisheckman's comment: one moment watching another moment. The way the light catches and illuminates just the profiles is great. Message edited by author 2013-01-27 08:28:01. |

03/52 - passing momentby mitalapoComment: At first I thought she was making the bed but then I saw she was seated. I really like the subtle lines of the foreground that lead the eye directly to the warm interplay between them. Nice. |
