Leonard Plowingby ShutterPugComment: Love that blowing snow - keeps it from being static. I might like a little more space on the right to emphasize the movement that way. |

Eat Lessby giantmikeComment: I eat my peas with honey,
I've done it all my life.
It makes the peas taste funny,
But it keeps them on my knife.
Nice entry, Mike - I like how clean and simple it is. |

St. Paulby ElaineComment: I always enjoy the juxtaposition of older and industrial with modern and commercial. |

market-day_9612by mariucaComment: The shapes are interesting - does make me curious about your dinner. Lots of possibilities, though - ratatouille and moussaka come to mind though I made moussaka a couple of times and it's now reserved for a very special occasion because of the enormous amount of prep time. I like the stone platter, not so much what it's sitting on as I find it distracting. And I would like more light, but that's just me. I think you prefer darker :) |

The Shopkeepersby LN13Comment: Not voting. I hope this is doing well for you - I do love the character written on both the dog's and the shopkeeper's faces as well as the jumble that surrounds them. A very nice environment portrait. |

IMG_1498-The-Bay-Bridge-800by sfaliceComment: I usually like things very tidy and in this case would straighten the main bridge uprights to vertical and (probably) crop a bit off the sides - more off left than right. I think this could work well with bridge and dark area on the right as 1/2 the frame, balanced by the sky and whatever is left after the straightening of the fronds on the left. Just a thought. This is so very dramatic and striking and beautiful. |
