Knitting patternby hajekaComment: Great pattern and I'm a sucker for white on white AND design elements, so of course I like this.
Andi contributed a great piece of trivia here: "I'm sure you are aware but will tell you anyway - in years gone by fishermen wore knitted sweaters, the patterns were so localised that when bodies were washed ashore after an accident the fishermen could be identified by their sweaters!"
When I don't get in to an image early, I try to comment without reading the comments but then always scroll down to read before I post. I find those times when I either virtually parrot or, conversely, completely contradict someone else's opinion particularly interesting. Neither was the case here, of course. |

after earthby instepsComment: Very nice to my eyes. She has a wonderful smile that extends to her eyes . . . or perhaps her eyes smile first and the warmth then extends to her mouth. I very much like the background - the radiating lines and circles/bokeh extend the friendship in a sort of visual metaphor. Had you not told us, I'd have thought you added the noise . . . it's that perfect :) |

Looking Backby GermaineComment: Someone suggested window display but I thought "more from that terrific front porch". It's luscious in color! I do see that this seems to be behind glass . . . very dirty glass. Why is it that I suspect this collection gets added to but never moved or subtracted from? I could easily live with this - your art, that is - for a long time. |

Darcyby posthumousComment: I find the left eye (our right) most compelling. |

Untitledby aznymComment: I would call this "Interaction". Such a sad commentary on contemporary life. I can't even imagine being in that room - I hope it's well ventilated, at least, though it doesn't appear to be so. |

Pistoletto and follower.DSCF9865by mariucaComment: That is very funny, Mariuca. Very clever. Funniest thing is the guy on the right, at least his head, looks more like a statue or sculpture than the one on the left. And that stance! No matter what he was doing, that is one wide, awkward looking stance! |

rite of passageby mariucaComment: I say female on our right . . .
Wonderful poses, expressions and textures in this little find, Mariuca. And then there's the contrast of the determined little plant with the wall and carvings - not long for this life if she has anything to say about it. |
