And I prefer the black and white :) I think the light over the door is nicer here. Not sure about the interior (esp EXIT and the sign below it) - it certainly recedes here but I haven't decided yet whether I think that's good or bad.

Wow! Now that's a burst of color and light.
At first I thought it was digitally created, but after closer examination, I've decided no, it's "just" superb in-camera zoom. It's a celebration for sure.

I love his stance and the way the deep shadows work in this one . . . though he may not see it, he hears something over there in the darkness for sure. Particularly nice exposure and composition - great use of the strong diagonal shadows of the dog and pole. Works well for me.

Now this is a find! Love the perspective - he's coming for us :) Usually in a head-on view, I see the headlights as the eyes, but here, the windshield takes over and the lights are just big dimples . . . kind of weird because this guy should NOT have dimples when he smiles.

Nice perspective and great color. I'm never sure whether to enjoy or regret a jet trail.
I was well into adulthood before I lived in a climate where palm trees were "normal", and they have always fascinated me. They seem so improbable . . . even impossible . . . with those tall, thin, branchless trunks and the tuft of fronds perched on top. Your perspective emphasizes that and immediately took me back to my very first visit to Southern California as a kid.

Looks closed - must have been a Monday. I hate it when we decide at the last minute to go grab a bite so I don't have to fix supper and it's Monday!

I like the way the shape(s) of the shadows overlays all the rectangles with soft triangles.
