The Grandson by BaldurTComment: So expressive! Bet he's always full of questions . . . and eagerly consumes the answers . . . when he doesn't challenge them :) Voted earlier. |

Camel Marketby snsComment: Ah the light . . . and the life. Not a scene I've ever witnessed, but I feel as if I'm walking through the dust among these animals. Voted earlier. |

Damara girlby LevTComment: A beautiful girl, great focus and tones. I'm having trouble with the pose - whose arms are these, anyway? Clearly the forward arm is hers, and I guess the other is, too . . . but there's something very strange about the very straight edge of her forearm. I like the spots of sunlight though the one on the bridge of her nose is distracting. Can't get away from those eyes, though . . . so it's an 8 from me. Voted earlier. |

And chicks make sixby mefnjComment: Absolutely fantastic moment with both parents there, the worm in the mouth, and four wide-open beaks! While I do a lot of painterly work myself and usually quite enjoy it, this is one time that I would have liked a more "photographic" look. Maybe you didn't have good focus on everyone, though - truly just getting the capture is fantastic. Voted earlier but I think I'll bump. |

Hills and Valleysby DennisheckmanComment: I love the depth here and the undulating terrain with the hills laid in over one another like stairs that go out rather than up or down. I am not sure what that little thing in the sky just above the horizon in the center is, but I wish it was either not there or clearly recognizable as something of interest. Voted earlier. |

London Bridgeby DistantColoursComment: Love the drama of blue, orange and black. I also like the contrast between the very smooth water and the crisp starbursts. And look at all those buses! Maybe you have to be on one in order to cross this bridge? Voted earlier. |

Ropeway by tamatamaComment: Love this - very cool seeing the sun between the people - as if caught in their cage and riding down (or up?) with them. My tiny wish would be for a clean separation between the background islands and the tram. Voted earlier. |

That lone treeby Alex_PetriniComment: I do love slick and this particular palette and minimalism that doesn't feel contrived and lovely light . . . gotta give this a 10. Voted earlier. |

Barry happened upon a Bird on a Bicycle by thrumyiisComment: I love this. So whimsical - Gorey-esque but maybe lighter than I would have expected. Would love to see the before pic(s) and have at least some hints in terms of processing. Congratulations on the ribbon. |
