Hehe, the looks on their faces are priceless. The balance in this photograph is wonderful, however it does feel flat and a little soft (It looks like your lens focused on the leaves just in front of the birds, rather than the birds themselves). It might benefit from a little post production. Brokeh and added shadow in the background might also have helped with the depth of field.

I do really like the birds though. They're cute! =)

This image feels flat to me. Perhaps if you had walked to your left and let the light reflect off of the fountain? You might have even been able to get a rainbow in the mist along with a flare.
