Gone To Seedby dtremainComment: This is one of the photos I dislike in the challenge. While there is clarity, the lighting is just too harsh. Perhaps a softer light, a warmer filter, or a different angle would have helped this photo?

summer drifting awayby grahamgatorComment: This is my third favorite image in this challenge.
It's so simplistic, yet beautiful. The greens and blues give it a very "cool" sense, but the vibrancy of the yellows give it warmth.
There is great detail on the little snippet of the leaf that is showing. I love how the water is focused around the edges.
The only complaint I have is the haloing that can be seen in the reflection of the water.
Other than that, I love this!

just the Beginningby mrchhasComment: This is my second favorite photo in the challenge. It evokes such raw emotion. The black and white conversion works beautifully here. The detail is lovely. The graininess works in complete favor.
I can't tell if the guy has his eyes open or not... but I think the only thing that this photo is missing is the needle that he's about to inject in his arm.
Great shot! Really wonderful. Bumping to an 8 |

A Swift End and a Slow Crumbleby Yo_SpiffComment: This is my favorite photo of the challenge. I am a sucker for dilapidated, abandoned places, and graffiti. I love it. Great composition. Lovely lighting. Very well done. Bumping to a 9 |

Catcher in the Wryby daisydavidComment: Just not feeling this photo. Don't understand it.
It's odd, and not in a way that I enjoy.

On Golden Pondby dtremainComment: The photo has harsh light. There doesn't seem to be a subject to focus on.
I think this photo could have worked better had you chosen a different angle? Or applied some different processing (if you used any?).

The Secret Gardenby pmichaudComment: I think this could have been a more interesting shot had the processing been different.

Snow Whiteby PennyStreetComment: The way this woman is walking is strange... how her feet are placed.
It looks like a snapshot, nothing really that stands out.
