I'mnot exactly sure how I feel about the border, but I don't believe it really detracts from the image in anyway. I love the clarity and I love the humor. Many wishes!

Congratulations on your highest rated shot! I must also add that you are a great addition to team DSC-P72. I also have this camera, also happen to be 18, and I also happen to live in the Northwest (Meridian, ID). I must say that I have enjoyed looking at your work and I think you have done a marvelous job thus far. ;)
Composition:
I LOVE the composition here, very unique and creative. The reflection is crystal clear and it works extremely well. As mentioned earlier by karmat, this is indeed a unique thing to see on a tea-pot. It adds a lot of flavor to something that is indeed...well...dull. Very nicely done. There is one thing however, though, that I feel could have made this shot a whole lot stronger than it is (and I also believe this was mentioned before) that the entire form of the tea-pot should be seen. Because without the title, I wouldn't have guessed it was a tea-pot, I also thought that it was rear view mirror of some sorts. That's all I would really do to fix the composition, because it alerady is a dynamic composition.
Focus and Clarity:,
Excellent DOF! I bleive this area is SPOT on! Nice work!
Other Thoughts:
Again, very nicely done! I commend your creativeness and look forward to seeing some of you future work. I think it would be really neat if you and I could dominate the highest rated shots in the DSC-P72 camera.

Wow, I feel EXTREMELY unworthy to critique this shot.
First Impressions:
WOW!! This was my personal favorite in the challenge. The reason is that I believe that the wind element was probably the hardest one to capture and look well. Let's just say you went well beyond the call of duty their.
Composition:
Okay, there is only 1, just 1 thing I would do to maybe make this shot better than in already is, and that would be to include more of the pinwheel. But in all reality, that is such a minor technicality in this beautiful shot. I LOVE the blurring of the pinwheel, gives the sense of wind motion, and that fits the challenge extremely well. Personally, I love the center of the pinwheel and how it's in focus in contrast to the spinning wheels. The clouds also add a lot to this shot by adding more emphasis on wind. plus the white helps the balance a lot. The colors are phenomenal and I like how the colors works with the sky, it just works so well. The lighting is absolutely perfect, it really makes that wood stand out.
Other:
I can't get over how well this shot was captured, picture perfect. If I had it my way, this shot would have ribboned. This is definetely a shot you should feel proud of. Good luck and I look forward to seeing some of your future work!

CptCorN:
This is a WONDERFUL shot. The detail of the water droplets is absolutely stellar! I didn't even notice the person in the background until I looked at it a little harder. That made the shot even better! Very nicely done! | Photographer found comment helpful. |

Very interesting shot! :)
First Impressions:
Honestly, when I first saw this I though "Oh no, not another waterdropshot." But after looking at it for another second I realized how clean it was. Colors seem kinda flat. Overall impression though was that this is a nice shot.
Composition:
Honestly, I really enjoy the composition here a lot with the off-center subject, it gives it a little bit more of a dynamic feel to it. At first I wasn't quite sure about the no drop thing, but then I really looked at the shot and thought how hard it must have been to get it that way. Also, not having the drop there kind of steers it away from the cliche. I would second one of the comments mentioned earlier, that there should possibly be a little more action, like having more droplets. Overall, it is a technically sound composition and set-up, very nicely done.
Other:
I do feel there could be a little bit more saturation (even though your blues are quite beautiful), i think it would make it feel more dramatic, but that's just me, because for some reason it does kinda feel slightly washed out. Excellent focus by the way, very crisp and defined. Also the lighting is quite good. I LOVE the textures of the ripples! The are smooth, flowing, and crisp. I think upping the saturation and contrast would help this a lot.
Anyways, this is a very cool shot that kind of steers away from the other cliched drops. Very nicely done!
