I really like the wide ratio for this landscape and I also like the minimalist approach. I think a couple of things that would have made it stronger would have been a little more saturation of the yellows and also the horizon seems a tad bit off of straight. Other than that it is a very pleasing shot to look at.

The S Bend

I have been wanting to try a shot like this for a while now. I like the cool star from the small aperature, nicely done. I think the only thing that I would change here is to give it a wider ratio and crop off the top a bit, it would help because your general direction of the cars is a left to right, the top distracts by adding an up-down movement to the shot.

Those water droplets are very cool. Great POV, DOF, and overall clarity. I really like the curves here as they grab our attention as they are not your conventional branch. If I had to nitpick...well, there isn't anything. Well done.

Ah, I like this one much better. Much more even lighting and I think the tighter crop serves you well here as it brings more focus to the Presidents' face.

Yellowstone Canyon

I really like the vertical composition as opposed to my landscape one for Best of 2007. I saw that you had a National Parks portfolio and it sucked me right in. You captured the falls here very nicely and I love the yellows. Isn't that place amazing!

I'd be interested to know what your technique is for the vignetting. I think though I would have toned that don a slight bit, but again, just nitpicking because your work is simply wonderful.

Oooo, I have been wanting to do one of these shots really badly. I like how you darkened the sides and corners to bring focus to the milky smooth water fall. Love it.

Black And White Warbler

Really neat shot. I love bird shots (and if you have been tracing my recent comemnts you'll find that I'm a sucker for a lot of things and haven't mentioned that bird shots are another along with sunsets, lighthouses, etc).

I like the composition, the DOF, the clarity, the colors and contrast. Maybe the only thing would be to get a little tighter crop, but that's only nitpicking a well done shot.
