IMG_0017by ryandComment: Excellent portrait! I love the composition, lighting, and desat work here. I also really like the filter here as it really adds to the portrait. Great focus and DOF. Nice work. |

At the end of the dayby LelezComment: I see that you do very well with oranges, yellows, and reds. I am really enjoying your shots of Brazil. I would love to go there someday as it looks gorgeous. I think, again, that a crop on the bottom would really strengthen the image, along with a little more saturation and contrast. Excellent work! |

sunset shadowsby LelezComment: I love the change in colors of the silhouettes. I have always wanted to do a shot like this. I would probably crop the top a bit to match the width of the dark water part on the bottom. Another thing that would make this stronger would be a bit more saturation, a tiny bit of contrast, and some noise reduction. Other than that, this is a wonderful shot. |

After the rainby LelezComment: Interesting take on a reflection. I like the intermittent reflection of the orange sky. Though I would like to see more of the orange. I also really like the overall color schema here and they go well together. I think a square composition of this would be really neat by taking a little off of the right. Way to think differently. |

Path to Lombise Cemetaryby SnapperLComment: Excellent perspective. I think the only thing that would make the image stronger is to do a slightly tighter crop with more of the bottom cropped off. Good work. |

Just a couple of trees in a field while on dog walk. Day 7by SnapperLComment: I love the details of the tree here and how they do not demand so much of the eyes attention, I think this may be because the overall shot has several interesting facets, to me I notice the saturation immediately and that was very appealing to me. The composition is very good because the entire shot is not just the trees. It's amazing the things that are around you, sometimes you just need a camera with you, like when walking the dog like you did. I'm glad you did because you were able to share this shot with us. |

Jaguar in Rembrandtby StOlafPhotographerComment: I really like the lighting here and the overall darkness of the shot and still eing able to maintain detail in a Block on Black.Nicely done. |

Fireworks-Original.jpgby StOlafPhotographerComment: Cool! I think you were at a perfect spot for getting the dramatic effect of the fireworks over the street. I maybe would have opened up the aparature a bit to gather a tad more light, but that is just a nit pick as this shot is very well done. |

Apple (1 of 1).jpgby StOlafPhotographerComment: Very interesting lighting. I would like to see the red pop out a slight bit lighter, but I'm being nitpicky as the shot is strong and very well done. I enjoy the minimalist approach. |

Perth: City of Lightsby Delta_6Comment: I like this cityscape a lot better than the other one I commented on. The wide ratio works well here. I think it may be a tad bright so perhaps a higher f-stop (also would have yielded those cool stars from the lamps). Nicely done. |
