First Trip to the Beachby pmichaudComment: I can't tell if the subject is meant to be the dogs or the guy walking away from them. The dogs have been caught in an interesting pose, so I would have tried to get closer and fill most of the frame with the dogs. |

The Canyon is Grandby ShutterRevComment: I think it would have worked better had the hiker been caught while he was nearer to the left part of the frame, walking up. The scale is appropriate to give the impression of the 'grandness' of the canyon vs. the smallness of the hiker, but our eyes are used to reading left to right and where he is in the frame he just sort of gets lost in clutter. |

Quiet visitorsby mluComment: Looks like the shutter speed was slow enough to pull in some ambient light along with the flash, which is probably why the deer are not all that sharp.
I'm not a fan of the border. |

Rough Watersby scarbrdComment: Well composed, good processing and I like the single, small human element. |

Star of Chicagoby HeiSchComment: Jake: No I don't like it...
[Elwood Blues floors the pedal and jumps over an open drawbridge]
Jake: Car's got a lot of pickup.
Elwood: It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspensions, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what? |
