I don't understand why this didn't place higher. Composition is great, the monochrome really works well (appropriate for the old-fashioned bicycle), and the winding road leads the eyes to wherever the destination is. Perhaps trim a little bit at the bottom to take out a little bit more of the road, equal to the height of the space between the top and the head. But I am just being petty. Overall, you pretty much portrayed a very leisurely sport very well.

It's so delicious, it's almost sinful. The curves, the shadows, the lighting, the shine on the spoon and plate and the hint of the dark make a very sensual picture.
