Comment:
The trike is a beautiful small scupture, and I like the way you've lighted it and used a reflecting surface. Putting in the penny to show the scale was clever.

Great detail and texture. I hope they don't jump you under the Patriot Act for burning material that refers to our leaders. It's getting kind of hard to tell how much freedom of speech is still allowed since 9/11.

Nice detail work on something we usually take for granted and see only as a point of light.

If these are real flakes, I'd love to hear how you captured them without melting and so perfectly squarely. If they aren't real, you stil have a beautiful picture here.

I don't know what they are, but they make a lovely picture. Are these corals?

Comment:
The reflection in the dog's eye is interesting, but it seems there should be some detail of the white of his eye and the structure of the iris. You certainly got a macro view, but it might actually have worked better if you'd backd off just a bit.

Comment:
I like the textures of metal and snow - you really captured the crystalline structure of the snow and avoided the common problem of having it go all white. I think the composition would be more dynamic if the chain were placed diagonally across the picture; this is kind of static.

Comment:
The water droplets on the one hand add some drama to this shot, but at the same time there's something slightly fake-looking about them, as if they are not really on the apple.

I like the metallic luster and the effect of the colors. The penny centrainly makes it clear that this is a really close up shot.
