Macros are not exactly my cup of tea, but I did find a worthy subjet at the market the other day. An edible from the cabbage family related to the caulyflower with an amazing infloresence. Had lots of fun exploring it.

Very different, and very nicely done (lighting, and composition). Just a little bit of halo-ing or chromatic noise would be good to address.

I don't know what they are, but they make a lovely picture. Are these corals?

Very interesting. Looks like it came out of National Geographic. I wish is were just a little sharper but still one of my favorites in this challenge.

Wonderful pattern. Structure highlighted well through use of shadows. Could use a bit more depth in front.

I have absolutely no idea what phyto-fractals are, but they are fairly amazing! Very interesting lighting, with warm tones on one side, and cool tones on the other. Lots of visually engaging patterns, repetition, and texture, but in a way that is not busy or overwhelming. Composition works beautifully to draw the eye throughout the photo. Home page for sure. 10

The lighting and colour conveys quite an interesting sense of mood - like watching a strange sci-fi film or documentary on life in the deep deep deep oceans... I like it!

Unique, strange photo. For some reason, I'm reminded of sea coral.

Awesome detail. I don't know what it is, but two guesses come to mind. An extreme macro of reptile or amphibian skin, or some kind of barnacle or other sea creature. Am I even close? Anyway it certainly is abstract. I like it very much. Good luck! I bet it does well. 10
